The Organize Yourself Healthy Method Meets Harvard’s Lifestyle Coaching

In early 2025, I found myself in a season of growth. You know those moments when something inside you just says, “You’re ready for more”? That was me. I’ve spent years creating and teaching the Organize Yourself Healthy (OYH) method—helping moms like you declutter their homes, organize their time, and find breathing room in their lives. And it works. I’ve seen it. But I wanted to go even deeper. To ground what I teach in science, not just personal experience.

That’s when I came across the Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching Training from Harvard Medical School. Honestly, it stopped me in my tracks. The training is built on something called Lifestyle Medicine, which focuses on six core pillars of wellness:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical activity
  • Sleep
  • Stress management
  • Healthy relationships
  • Avoiding risky substances

From the very first module, I had this huge aha! moment.

These weren’t just six random wellness categories. These were pretty much the same areas I had been supporting moms through with the Organize Yourself Healthy Method. It felt like Harvard had just put scientific language around everything I’d already been practicing with my clients. And for me, that was the confirmation I didn’t know I needed.

Science + Systems = Real Change

What I love about Lifestyle Medicine is that it doesn’t look at your life in pieces. Lifestyle Medicine takes a holistic approach to health, considering the whole person rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms or diseases. And that’s exactly how I approach lifestyle and home organizing. Because your clutter isn’t just about “too much stuff.” It’s usually about overwhelm, decision fatigue, lack of time, or putting yourself at the bottom of the list for so long that the piles just quietly grow.

The Organize Yourself Healthy Method was always meant to be about more than baskets and bins. It’s about helping moms feel well—mind, body, and home.

With this training, I now have evidence-based tools to help you make sustainable lifestyle shifts, not just temporary changes. That means when we work together to organize your pantry, I’m also thinking about how it supports your meal planning, your energy levels, your stress around dinnertime, and your overall well-being.

Moms Need More Than a Clean House

Let’s be honest. Most of us aren’t just looking for a tidy kitchen. We’re craving ease. Clarity. A feeling of being in control again.

That’s where the blend of Lifestyle Coaching + the OYH Method really shines. This training gave me practical, research-backed strategies that now sit behind every tip I share, every system I build, every conversation I have with a mom feeling stretched too thin.

And the best part? You don’t have to do a total life overhaul. Tiny steps lead to big shifts. Whether you start with a single drawer, a Sunday routine, or a morning reset, the work we do together is always designed to fit your life—not add more pressure.

What’s Next?

I’m already weaving this training into my Organize Yourself Healthy Club, my one-on-one sessions, and the content I share every week. Because my mission is still the same: to help moms create homes and lives they don’t feel like running away from.

But now, I’ve got even more tools in my back pocket to help you live that calm, organized, and truly well life.

So if you’ve ever thought, “I just need someone to help me reset—without the guilt, shame, or overwhelm,” I’ve got you.
